About the MS 2.0
Suspension
The MS2.0's suspension system has been completely redesigned for smoother operation and improved cornering response. Longer upper and lower suspension arms provide a more forgiving steering feel while maximizing mechanical grip, even on high-traction surfaces. The rear active shock design enhances stability and traction on uneven tracks, allowing the chassis to stay composed under acceleration. Combined with the low-mounted front shocks and balanced geometry, the suspension delivers sharper turn-in and superior mid-corner balance.
Chassis
The 1.5mm aluminum main chassis replaces the more common 2.0mm layout, reducing overall weight while maintaining strength. This thinner profile allows for increased chassis flex, which improves traction and broadens setup possibilities. Although thin chassis designs can be difficult to assemble, Yokomo addresses this with dedicated high-precision screws that ensure accurate and reliable construction.
Steering
The steering system of the MS2.0 emphasizes precision and speed without sacrificing stability. The low-CG aluminum servo mount improves steering response and feedback, allowing for immediate, confident corrections. Front and rear aluminum knuckles ensure accurate line control, while the suspension geometry minimizes slop for consistent steering behavior under load.
