About the Porta-Pad II & Electron Beam Controller
Durable Launch Pad for Repeat Flights
The Porta-Pad II features a durable design equipped with a blast deflector, standoff stem, a two-piece 1/8-inch launch rod, and a protective rod cap for safe and stable launches. Its adjustable launch angle allows up to 30° of movement from vertical, giving you flexibility to adapt to wind or field conditions. It also supports an optional 3/16-inch Maxi Launch Rod (EST2244 - sold separately) for larger rockets, and its tool-free assembly ensures quick setup so you can be ready for liftoff in minutes.
High-Quality Controller for Safe Launches
The Electron Beam Launch Controller arrives fully assembled and includes seventeen feet of cable to keep you at a safe distance during ignition. Once four AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) are inserted, the controller is ready for use and features a built-in safety key and bright LED indicator providing clear visual confirmation during the countdown. Together, these components create a reliable system that delivers smooth, safe, and exciting launches for both first-time fliers and experienced rocketeers.
